980 Howe Vancouver – Project Proposal

Proposal

Proposed Project Description

Engineered suspension systems suddenly become visual representations of motion-blurs, emulating a split second of a microscopic event, captured in time. Coloured treatments and internal light sources will surely make this an iconic piece of sculpture in downtown Vancouver.

Client: City of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada

View Project Proposal

A light sculpture in ribbons of glass that plays with interaction of viewer both pedestrian and vehicular as one moves past the illuminated glass strips. The glass rings are organic in shape, creating a contrast between the exterior circle form and the organic interior reflecting our mountain landscape to the north.
